After my father passed last year, none of us had any idea where to begin. The Legacy Planning Orientation gave me a clear picture of what needed to happen and which bodies to contact. I still felt sad, of course, but at least the administrative side became manageable. I cannot overstate how helpful it was just to understand the general sequence of events.

I wanted to get my own affairs in order before I retire — so that my wife would not face the same confusion I saw in my own family years ago. The Document Organisation service was straightforward and practical. Kaveh was patient and never made us feel rushed. The folder system they helped me create is something I can hand to my wife tomorrow and she would know exactly what to do.

My husband and I went through the full programme together. What I appreciated most was that they were very clear about what they were — and what they were not. Every time we asked something that needed a solicitor's input, Nadia simply said so and pointed us in the right direction. That honesty made us trust the rest of what they shared much more.

I attended the orientation online from Ipoh, which worked perfectly. The session answered questions I did not even know I had. The glossary they provided has been on my desk since — I referenced it every time I spoke to our family's solicitor. It helped me ask better questions and understand the answers.

My mother had been meaning to organise her documents for years. We went through the Document Organisation programme together, and it turned out to be a calmer process than either of us expected. The sessions gave structure to something that had felt overwhelming. The thing I would change — I wish we had done it sooner.

The Comprehensive Programme was the right choice for our family — there were three siblings involved and many questions about how Faraid applied to my parents' situation. Bequestly did not answer those questions for us (they were clear that was a matter for an Islamic estate specialist), but they helped us understand enough to walk into that consultation with clarity. Worth every ringgit.

A Retired Couple Planning Ahead
The Situation
A couple in their sixties, both professionals, wanted to ensure that if anything happened to either of them, the other would not face the administrative confusion they had seen in friends' families. Their records were scattered across multiple locations and neither had a clear inventory.
What We Did
They enrolled in the Estate Document Organisation Service. Over three sessions, we helped them identify all major document categories, locate physical and digital records, and create a structured personal folder with a summary index. We also referred them to an estate planning solicitor for their formal will and trust arrangements.
The Outcome
The couple completed the process with a fully organised personal archive that either family member could access immediately. Their solicitor consultation was significantly more focused as a result. "We knew exactly what we had and what we still needed to arrange," they noted afterwards.
"Going into the solicitor's meeting with our records already organised meant we spent the time on the decisions that actually needed legal input — not on working out what we owned."
Adult Siblings Managing a Parent's Estate
The Situation
Three adult children found themselves managing their late mother's affairs with no clear picture of the process. One sibling had heard conflicting information about which body handled which part of the process, and the family was losing time and energy to uncertainty.
What We Did
The eldest sibling attended the Legacy Planning Orientation, which clarified the general sequence of steps and identified the relevant official bodies. We pointed the family toward the appropriate estate administrator and provided the plain-language glossary to help them follow professional communications more easily.
The Outcome
The family was able to proceed with greater confidence and much less confusion. "The orientation did not do the legal work," the eldest noted, "but it meant we stopped wasting time on the wrong questions and started asking the right ones."
"Understanding the general picture — even without any personal advice — was enough to stop the paralysis and help us move forward as a family."
